Hello. Our initiative has been present for over 1 year. We make the best for all our community.

OBJECTIVES

  1. To conduct baseline studies to identify health needs.
  2. To provide basic health education and information training to women, men and youths for development, economic growth and poverty alleviation
  3. To reduce maternal/ infant morbidity and mortality rate by establishment of primary health clinics and activities
  4. To provide essential drugs
  5. To construct shallow and borehole wells and rehabilitation of water catchments
  6. To develop field tests and produce behavioral communication change ( bcc ) materials i.e. posters and handouts
  7. To raise awareness on STDS/ HIV/ AIDS, promote and provide home/ community based care
  8. To collaborate with other bodies or agencies
  9. To ensure control of outbreak by guaranteeing outbreaks are rapidly detected and controlled through adequate preparation i.e. stock pile, standard treatment protocol, staff training and rapid response confirmation investigation and implementation of control measures.

Florence Nightingale Community Health Initiative (FLONCHI) is a legally constituted Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) registered under the laws of Uganda, headquartered in Apac District. The Registration No: 3320 and also registered as an NGO under med advicethe NGO Board, Uganda.

Our way of working is “Ugandan Solutions for Ugandan Health Care Challenges”. We deliver change by employing consistent approaches, focused on underserved women, men, children and the elderly in underserved communities.
